MEET BILAL NIAZI

He’s part of the Corporate Finance Advisory practice and has led various transactions across Corporate Finance, Debt Restructuring, M&A advisory (with SWFs) and Capital raise.

Prior to the advisory roles, he has worked as financier for large financial institutions in GCC (First Abu Dhabi Bank, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank and Dubai Islamic Bank) in which capacity he executed some landmark transactions across Asset-based lending, Structured finance (limited / non-recourse), Project finance etc.

As an experienced transactor, he has successfully completed sector-agnostic mandates covering Contracting, Real Estate, Logistics & Transportation, Healthcare, Retail, Education, Hospitality, Energy, Oil & Gas industries.

Bilal successfully spearheaded debt restructuring / re-profiling transactions (Borrower-side as well as Creditor-side) for a public-listed entity, large local corporates and reputable multinationals involving complex multi-party negotiations.

Bilal’s extensive experience in deal negotiations, financial / non-financial due-diligence, credit structuring, documentation (Sharia) and financial close is invaluable.

Bilal has an MBA (Corporate Finance and Marketing) and an Undergraduate in Computer Sciences from the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) – Pakistan.
